Arc Flash Accident Investigations

Hugh Hoagland, ArcWear president and senior consultant, is one of the most active trainers, researchers, and consultants in electric arc protection. Hugh has performed and developed testing (by original research and participation in ASTM, NFPA, ANSI, CSA, IEC and ISO standards groups) for the electric arc hazard since 1994 and has performed over 50,000 electric arc tests. Hugh has helped invent many arc rated materials in use today and continues to research and publish on the electric arc hazard.

NFPA 70E and OSHA 1910.269/NESC training programs that Hugh helped develop are used by many Fortune 500 companies and governmental agencies including Alcoa, GM, Toyota, Bechtel, DOE, and hundreds of electric utilities. His experience, including over 20 years of consulting, over 160 accident investigations and service as an expert witness, will add to your knowledge in a field investigation.
